Welcome to Elliott Hudson College

This year, Elliott Hudson College proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary. Since opening in September 2015 with just 407 students, the South Leeds sixth form has grown into a thriving community of 1,500 learners and over 100 dedicated staff. From its early days in Phoenix House to its purpose-built home at White Rose Office Park, the college has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, student support, and outstanding opportunities. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2024 and 2018, Elliott Hudson continues to inspire, empower, and open doors for young people across the region.

Last year, we expanded our facilities with a £4.8m site extension, featuring state-of-the-art science labs, modern classrooms, and vibrant study and social spaces ensuring students benefit from the very best facilities for years to come.

We know that if we focus on building a community in which students support, encourage, and believe in one another, we are all more likely to achieve beyond what we ever thought we could. The unpredictability of the past two years has taught me the importance of being embraced by a community where positivity, kindness and diversity are championed. Our experience tells us that a culture that celebrates individuals and embraces difference is one in which all can thrive.
