Applications to study at Elliott Hudson College in September 2026 have now closed. If you would like to complete a Form to express your interest in studying with us, please complete the Expression of interest form below. Please wait for college to contact you – we will call in late August/early September if we have places.
Application Timeline
All communication about the application will be sent directly to the applicant’s personal email. Please ensure this is checked regularly for updates, reminders and important next steps.
What to do
- Explore our Prospectus to see all A Level and Vocational options.
- Select three courses to study at Elliott Hudson College.
Why this matters
- The right combination of courses ensures students are well-prepared for their future pathway, whether that’s university, apprenticeships or employment.
- Certain subjects complement each other, making study more effective and progression smoother.
What to do
- Create an account on My Application Portal using the applicant’s own personal email.
- Complete the application form and select your three chosen courses.
- If you wish to make future changes to your application you can do so my logging in to the portal.
Applicants from a Trust can move to Step 3: Applicant Experience Evenings.
What to do
- External applicants from outside the GORSE Academies Trust must upload their current Year 11 report through the portal
- The report must clearly show:
- Full name
- Predicted GCSE grades
- Current attendance percentage
- A clear photo or PDF is acceptable.
Why this matters
- The Year 11 report gives us an early view of predicted achievement and attendance.
- It ensures the right course choices are in place and allows us to identify support needs, such as SEND, bursaries, or wellbeing.
Note
- Applicants within the Trust do not need to upload a report as schools share this with us directly.
- If predicted grades aren’t yet available, wait until they are. You can still book an Applicant Experience Evening up until mid-March.
Applicants will be emailed to book on to their Applicant Experience Evening. They will have the choice of x6 dates

- Wednesday 3 December
- Tuesday 13 January
- Tuesday 27 January
- Wednesday 25 February
- Tuesday 10 March
- Wednesday 1 April
What to expect
- A one-to-one meeting with a member of staff.
- Conversations with current student ambassadors about life at college.
- A guided tour of facilities.
Why this matters
- These evenings give applicants a real insight into college life and allow us to check that subject choices and support are right.
- Attendance is required, students who do not attend may be deprioritised in the application system.
What to do
- You will be given your offer at your Applicant Experience Evening and will receive a confirmation email 1-2 days later confirming your offer.
- Log into the My Application Portal to accept your offer.
- Please accept within 10 working days.
Why this matters
- Accepting quickly secures the place.
- If an offer isn’t accepted, the application may be deprioritised and the place offered to another applicant.
Dates: Tuesday 7 July & Wednesday 8 July 2026
What to expect
- Invitations are sent by the end of May, with details of which day to attend.
- You will need to confirm your attendance to one of the two Taster Days.
- If you are unable to attend either date you will need to contact the Admission Teams.
- Tasters Days are a great time for students take part in sample lessons, meet staff and peers, and experience college life first-hand.
Why this matters
- Taster Days help confirm final course decisions and prepare students for the transition to sixth form.
- Attendance is essential for enrolment planning.
What to expect
- Full details are sent following Taster Days.
- Enrolment finalises course choices and confirms the student’s place at Elliott Hudson College.
