On Monday the 5th of March 35 Y13 students who have chosen to pursue apprenticeships or employment after college attended the Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair at First Direct Arena. This is an annual event and is the biggest of its kind in Yorkshire, with over 100 national and regional employers that attend from a wide variety of sectors. Students spoke to a range of employers about the opportunities they offer, with employers impressed by the strength of our students’ CVs – one student was even offered an interview on the spot, and others were contacted the next day with more information about roles on offer! It was also fantastic to see some of last year’s Y13s representing the companies that they now work for!
