A group of enthusiastic Applied Business students from Elliott Hudson College recently embarked on an educational trip to Chester Zoo, gaining valuable insights into zoo management as part of their coursework.

The visit, allowed students to explore various aspects of zoo operations, from animal care to conservation efforts. Engaging with zoo staff, the students learned about the complexities of managing a modern zoo, including the challenges of wildlife preservation and sustainable practices.

“This trip was a fantastic opportunity for our students to see the practical application of their studies,” said Mrs Lodge, Applied Business Teacher. “Chester Zoo is a leader in conservation and animal welfare, and it provided a unique learning environment for our students.”
