Day 5: Valentine’s Day

As we close the chapter on Culture Week today, it’s impossible not to reflect on the vibrant energy that’s filled the halls this past week. From the heartwarming embrace of the Hug Cam to the creative showcases that celebrated diversity in every form, this week was truly magnificent. There’s nothing I would change—every event, every smile, every moment felt it was all perfect.
And what a fitting way to close it out: on Valentine’s Day, with love in the air and everyone wearing red to celebrate the bonds we’ve forged throughout this week. It’s a reminder that love and culture go hand in hand—whether it’s through art, connection, or community.

A massive thank you to everyone who participated and made Culture Week such a resounding success. Your support has been invaluable, and together, we’ve created something memorable. As we head into the final day of this half-term, let’s take a moment to appreciate the incredible experiences we’ve shared so far. This is your Student Union 2025, signing out for now.
