The Elliott Hudson Student Union is a group of students who aim to represent the student body and ensure that we are able to have a voice within the college. As part of our college’s core value of participation, we are proud to have our own EHC Student Union, which can help students engage with college, the community and make their mark on the world.

For this academic year, we are pleased to announce that our Student Union President and Vice President will be Grace Azouan (Y13) and Mohammad “Sam” Ashik (Y12) who were elected by the EHC student body.

“I’m so excited about working with my peers, ” said Grace. “The Student Union is an important part of our college culture, and it’s important that we all stay involved.” Grace was elected Vice President at the Student Union election held on 3 October.

Grace will be working closely with her Vice President Sam Ashik on projects including Culture Day, the Year 13 Prom and creating a more welcoming and inclusive environment for students.
Sam Ashik, a Year 12 student, is expected to fulfil his duties as Vice President alongside the rest of the executive committee.

The goal of the Elliott Hudson Student Union is to provide an avenue for students to express their opinions on any matter affecting their interests or affecting other students and provide direction to students on issues that affect them and help them get involved in activities that will enhance their student experience.

Last year, the Student Union organised social events and charity initiatives, as well as helping out with other aspects of school life, such as dealing with concerns from individual students and representing them on college committees.
