On Wednesday 31 January 60 students attended the amazing VIVIT Core Experience. This event showcased the world’s only semi-synthetic human cadaver and gave students a detailed insight into anatomy and the day-to-day life of a medical professional. Students were able to examine real organs and see the anatomical structures in practice.
It was invaluable for students to hear from current medical professionals, including surgeons and doctors, about the realities of working within healthcare and the communication skills needed as well as the academic ability. Thank you to NCOP for funding this amazing experience and to Miss Crawford (Teacher of Biology) and Miss Fraser (NCOP, Careers) for arranging it all !
