Cambridge Trip

Elliott Hudson College recently organised a trip to Selwyn College at Cambridge for a group Year 12 students. This unique opportunity provided the students with the chance to explore the prestigious university and gave them a first-hand experience of campus life.

During the visit, the students were taken on a tour of the campus where they were able to see the various departments, lecture halls, and libraries. They also had the chance to talk to current undergraduate students about their experiences at Selwyn College and ask questions about university life.

“It was a lovely day out which was very informative and gave me a good idea on whether or not I would like to apply to Cambridge,” said Ellie Dibbs.

This trip was a great chance for the students to get insight into the world of higher education and learn more about what it takes to gain admission into a top university like Cambridge. The students were able to broaden their horizons and develop a better understanding of what their future academic and career prospects could be.

“This opportunity enabled me to experience Cambridge as a student, something that strengthened my interest in applying to the university and my course of interest!” Said Faith Ohoriemu.

The trip was organized as part of our college’s commitment to providing its students with opportunities to broaden their experiences and develop their skills beyond the classroom.

Mrs Cork, Student Destinations Manager said “We were thrilled to be able to take a group of our students to visit Selwyn College at Cambridge. This has provided them with an excellent insight, and we hope this experience will inspire them to achieve their full potential.”
