Elliott Hudson College is celebrating another victorious year in Volleyball, with both the Mixed and Men’s teams being crowned champions at the AoC (Association of Colleges) National Cup Championship 2026.

For the second consecutive year, the Mixed Team won Gold. The team is made up of seven England Volleyball athletes. Our Mixed (dream-team) final was a quick and dominant match, with EHC never in doubt as they claimed a 3–0 victory against Barnet/Southgate College (London). A special mention goes to setter Krystina Ngatcha, whose phenomenal performance as a setter led the team throughout the match.

Team: Josh Cosgrove, Maks Makowski, Ben Sorley, Ioannis Dimitrakopoulos, Essay Mulubrhan, Krystina Ngatcha, Liliana Kowalska, Delyse Hirst, Emmanuel Oretoye, Abdoul Gimma as well as Daniella Tchandeu and Daria Kurbani strongly contributing from LMaS.

The Men’s Team won Gold with a commanding 3–0 victory in a high-quality and closely contested final against Barton Peveril Sixth Form College (Southampton). A special mention goes to Abdoul Gimma for his dominant presence at the net—particularly impressive as he only began his volleyball journey at EHC last year. Congratulations to the full squad: Josh Cosgrove, Maks Makowski, Ben Sorley, Ioannis Dimitrakopoulos, Essay Mulubrhan, Ted Idahosa, Lutfil Ilmi, Emmanuel Oretoye, and Abdoul Gimma.
